Alice has been dancing since the age of four. She grew up in York, PA training under Priscilla Hoffman. With Priscilla, Alice not only trained in dance but also on the administrative side of running a dance team and studio. When Alice relocated to Philadelphia for five years, she continued her dance training by dancing, choreographing, and leading InMotion Dance Team at Temple University. She also taught at Ovations Academy of Dance and Diane Matthews School of Dance Arts. She graduated from Temple University in December 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Education.
Alice continues to take dance classes in New York and LA, along with attending various workshops and conventions. She is certified by Dance Teacher Magazine from the 14th, 15th, and 16th Annual Teachers Workshop! Alice has also had great success with the competition team at Adrenaline. Since starting the team three years ago Alice and her dancers have won countless awards, most notably Turn It Up’s 2018 Routine of the Year and their only Choreography Award at their 2018 Lancaster Competition. She has also had six dances receive Golden Tickets to the World Dance Championship. Alice has been teaching dance for over thirteen years in York and Philadelphia and has now moved back to York to teach weekly classes at Adrenaline and direct the Adrenaline Rush Competition Team.
Kait has been dancing since she was three years old. She's been trained in all areas of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Stage makeup/presence, Pantomime and Musical Theatre. Raised in Dover, PA, she started dancing at School of Music and Dance in Hanover, and continued on to Center Stage until graduation when she pursued a college degree. She also has experience with competitive dance teams, and an active dance company with competitions year round. She's performed in a variety of shows such as 'Annie' 'Babes in Toyland' 'Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' 'The wizard of Oz' amongst many others. She's also been in various productions at Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in Hanover, as well as modeling for various companies for dancing photography and print in NYC. Kait holds an associates degree in Psychology and has a beautiful 12yr old daughter. Dance is her passion, her soul and she hopes to pass that along to each dancer that walks into class! Her motto will always be "Never stop dancing!"
Michelle has coached gymnastics for 19 years at Gymnastics of York. Along with coaching preschool and girls classes, she has been a senior team coach for both the USAG and USAIGC competition teams. She has taken the teams to local competitions as well as States and Worlds in Florida and California. Michelle is also a Personal Trainer certified through NASM with a Sports Performance credit and working on her continuing education credit for corrective exercise. She does one-on-one personal training, group training and Bootcamp classes. Michelle also works with the S3 program at Anytime Fitness, which is a student athlete program that focuses on sports conditioning.
Dawn has been dancing since the age of two. She grew up in York, PA training under Priscilla Hoffman. She started to teach dance at the age of 12. She competed with B*Dazzled Dance in Disney World and on cruises around the world. She has taken various dance education Master courses in New York City. Dawn took Irish Master classes with a World Renowned Irish Dancer.
She graduated from York College in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Dawn teaches 1st grade for South Eastern School District.
Dawn has been teaching dance for over ten years in York, PA and has become an instructor for the Adrenaline RUSH competition team and teaches Irish Hard shoe and Soft shoe, Contemporary, Ballet, and Tap. Dawn hopes her students learn an appreciation of Dance while having fun and growing their passion!
Odin started dance at the age of 3. Dance is his passion and he dedicates a large amount of his life to learning and improving on his skill. He has taken classes at a variety of dance schools in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York. Around the age of 8, Odin started to self-teach dance by watching videos and mirroring the dancers in them. After years of practice, he was focusing on specific moves and skills to perfect his craft. In high school, Odin began taking hip hop classes to gain a further understanding of dance.
Odin started teaching at Adrenaline Dance of York in 2017. He has been competing on our Rush Team for a number of years and helped to win multiple Platinum Awards. Odin just competed with his hip-hop teammates at the World Dance Championship. Between 2010-2015, Odin competed at the Randallstown Recreation Center in Hip Hop Battles and held a 30-1 record.
Odin's goal is to eventually open his own studio in Los Angeles and has a personal goal to compete on the show, World of Dance. He hopes to eventually pass his experience on to other students so they can reach their dreams of dance.
Sarah started dance at the age of two. Dance is her passion and she dedicates all her time to perfecting her craft. She has taken classes at a variety of dance schools in MD, PA and NY. Specific to New York, she trained at 'Steps on Broadway', 'The Rockettes @ Radio City Music Hall' and 'Broadway Dance Center'. She was a member of Dallastown High's Dance Team for three years. She has competed with her hip-hop teammates at the World Dance Championship. Currently, Sarah is training in dance at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City!
Sarah has performed as a featured dancer in several musicals such as 'Anything Goes', 'White Christmas', 'The Drowsy Chaperone', 'School of Rock', 'Jekyll & Hyde' and 'Mary Poppins'. Most recently she played Louanne in 'Hairspray'. She was the assistant choreographer for Dallastown Middle's 'Cinderella'. In 2015, she performed in Viktor Yeliohin's 'The Nutcracker'. She has danced in every parade since starting with Adrenaline. Sarah makes it her mission in every class she teaches to make sure that the kids are smiling, having fun and leaving them wanting to come back for more.
Bethany started dance when she was 2 years old and hasn't stopped since! As a New Jersey native, she spent much of her upbringing training with Manhattan instructors, until she moved to Pennsylvania for college. Her training includes ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, pointe, hip hop and modern, but with a specialty in contemporary. A recent college graduate, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Messiah College, and has spent time training at the Koresh School of Dance in Philadelphia, as well as in New York City at the Rockette Summer Intensive, Broadway Dance Center and the Juilliard School for the NYCDA Winter Intensive. She has experience teaching dance to students of all ages and levels (in many styles!) and loves the opportunity to share her passion with every student!
Paige began dancing at the age of 3 at M&M Dance Academy, a studio in her hometown of Monroeville, PA, which is about 20 minutes outside of Pittsburgh.
Paige started competing with M&M’s company at the age of 6, and continued to do so until she graduated high school in 2013. M&M also gave her the opportunity to teach beginner combo while she was a student at the studio.
Paige is trained in contemporary, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, and gymnastics. Her favorites are contemporary and hip hop! Paige went to Penn State University for Broadcast Journalism, but she still kept dance as a part of her life!
At Penn State Erie, she was a member of the dance team. She also was the featured dancer in the school’s production of “Psycho Beach Party.” At Penn State University Park, Paige was a dancer and choreographer with Volé, the Penn State Ballet Club. During college and since graduating, Paige enjoys taking classes at Millenium Dance Complex in Pittsburgh and at Broadway Dance Center in NYC.
Paige currently works as a news producer at WGAL News 8 in Lancaster.
Hunter McCadden is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Originally from the Lehigh Valley area, she has a B.A. in Dance from DeSales University. She has performed and choreographed for many different shows throughout her college and professional career including time spent dancing with the Emme dance collective dance company located in Lancaster, PA. Hunter is well trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, and Acrobatics. She has been professionally teaching recreational and competitive dance for 7 years and looks forward to teaching at Adrenaline Dance of York!
Krista has been dancing for 11 years and has spent most of that time at Adrenaline Dance of York. She has been a member of the Adrenaline RUSH competition dance team for four years, and through this she has been able to take classes across Pennsylvania and New York. She has been able to take classes from world-renowned choreographers such as Matt Steffanina, Fefe Burgos, Lane Napper, and many others. She has competed at many regional and national competitions, along with receiving an invitation and competing at the World Dance Championships with the Adrenaline RUSH Hip Hop team. From these competitions, she has won multiple awards including a plethora of platinum medals, judges awards, entertainment awards and more. After high school, Krista hopes to continue to inspire kids through dance.
Avery Volz began dancing at the age of five years old. As a young girl, she dabbled in ballet, jazz, and tap. However, it was during her first hip hop class at the age of eight that she found her calling. Ever since that day, Avery has dedicated herself to growing and improving as a hip hop-based dancer. She has been competing for four years and has won multiple judges awards for her performances. She has also won a special icon award as well as the highest scoring solo of the Turn It Up Competition in 2018. Avery and her team have been invited to the World Dance Championship three years in a row. She has also taken lessons from famous choreographers such as Fefe Burgos, Cassie Russo-Sweeney, and many more. For Avery, she feels dance is more than simple movement. It is an escape from reality and a therapeutic method for releasing negative energy. Despite her sweet demeanor off stage, she loves tapping into the mindset of different characters and performing her heart out.
Maddie Swartz started dancing at the age of 6 and has been dancing for 18 years since. Prior to Adrenaline, she has taught at Light of Life Performing Arts, and York Dance Arts. Her background of dance styles include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Point, Modern, Lyrical, Hip-hop, and Swing. Maddie has worked with guest teacher’s from Russia, Korea, and China and has danced in New York’s Time square. In addition to Dance, Maddie has also taught as a Kindergarten teacher’s assistant for 3 years and has modeled for Curtain Call for several years.
Donna Lynch is a certified member of Dance Masters of America, Inc., and a graduate of the DMA Teacher’s Training School, where she earned certification in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. She has also passed the exams required by the PA Department of Education to become certified to teach dance in the public school setting. Donna is a current member of the Mid-Atlantic Dance Masters Chapter 17, where she serves as a member of the board. She has taken master classes offered by many local and national dance organizations to continue her education and training, and has served as a regional and national dance competition judge. Donna has choreographed musical productions for Central York High School, The Belmont Theatre, York Catholic High School, and Weary Arts Group. She also has a B.A. in Journalism, Literature, and Creative Writing.
