BIO:
Sarah started dance at the age of two. Dance is her passion, and she dedicates all her time to perfecting her craft. She has taken classes at a variety of dance schools in MD, PA, and NY. Specific to New York, she trained at 'Broadway Dance Center', 'Steps on Broadway', and 'The Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall'. She was a member of Dallastown High's Dance Team for four years. She has competed with her Hip Hop teammates at the World Dance Championship, spent many years competing on Adrenaline's competition team, and was captain of the team for her final two years. Sarah recently completed training in the professional dance program at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She currently still works with and assists her mentor from NYC, Lane Napper. She is now finishing her college education at Coastal Carolina and is a proud member of their dance team. They perform for CCU's NCAA Division 1 sports teams.
Along with dance, Sarah has performed as a featured dancer in several musicals. Some include 'Anything Goes', 'White Christmas', 'The Drowsy Chaperone', 'School of Rock', 'Jekyll & Hyde' and 'Mary Poppins'. Most recently she played Lou Ann in the production of 'Hairspray'. She was the assistant choreographer for multiple musicals at Dallastown Middle School. In 2015, she performed in Viktor Yeliohin's 'The Nutcracker'. She has danced in every parade since starting with Adrenaline. Sarah makes it her mission in every class she teaches to make sure that the kids are smiling, having fun, and leaving them wanting to come back for more. She believes it is important for the kids to find a reason to why they dance and learn to truly enjoy the process of growing and getting better. Sarah loves to end every class she teaches with circle time to give each student an opportunity to think back on the class and share what they enjoyed or something that they thought they did well.
